Denver Neighborhood Diary: Entry Four

October 15th, 2018

Dear Denver Diary,

Eclectic and historic, Capitol Hill is without a doubt a city-dweller’s paradise. If you are looking for real estate with easy access to some enriched culture and experience, this is the neighborhood for you. Surrounded by Broadway, Downing, Colfax and Seventh, there’s absolutely no better place to immerse into the Mile High City. This area gives a warm welcome to all transplants with an inclusive, diverse vibe. Some say Capitol Hill is “The Heart of Denver.” Well, you know what else they say; “home is where the heart is.”

Capitol Hill is a notorious, Denver destination for landmarks. The Colorado State Capitol Building serves as the focal point and the whole entire reason for this neighborhood’s existence. You simply cannot overlook that golden dome! Get educated for free Monday-Friday on the history of Colorado in this Neoclassical monument.

Activist, philanthropist, socialite and SURVIVOR of the Titanic Margaret “Molly” Brown brings major character to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Preserved and restored, The Molly Brown House Museum avoided demolition thanks to a group Denver citizens with hopes of retaining some the city’s historic value. This house represents the birth of old money, success and  prosperity during the turn of the 20th century in Colorado when those who struck gold in the mountains began to produce some prestigious architecture in Capitol Hill.

Today, homebuyers get to choose from a wide variety of options catering to different lifestyles. Clients longing for the  luxurious life can choose from an abundance of contemporary high-rises, where they can feel safe, relax and enjoy resort-style living all year round. Capitol Hill has an array of remarkably vintage, last-century classics to offer the more traditional clients. When it comes to servicing a first-time homebuyer, Capitol Hill is a deep sea of charming, old fashioned walk-ups.

If there’s one thing we can guarantee, its the fact that Capitol Hill is densely packed with places to be and people to see. This is the ultimate neighborhood for entertaining friends and family. Treat your tribe to brunch at Sassafras and leave them feeling ultra sophisticated. Find comfort in food during happy hour or late night at Capital Hill Tavern. Go plant based at City O’ City and indulge in some gourmet vegan cuisine. Live music lovers have a nice plethora of venues to experience such as Ogden Theatre, Fillmore Auditorium, The Black Box, The Temple Nightclub, The Church Nightclub  and even Your Mom’s House.

Until Next Time,

A Look At The 2018 Client Appreciation Party

Again, we wanted to express our deepest gratitude for everyone who was a part of our Annual 2018 Client Appreciation Party. This year we met at the beautiful Washington Park Boathouse Sunday, September 9th, the most perfect night for an END OF SUMMER PICNIC.

We were gifted with the most ideal 80 degree, sunny weather with a clear forecast that made for an incredible sunset. The evening was filled with fun, food, drinks, music, dancing, laughter, and multiple televisions screening the first Broncos game of the season. We were so honored for the opportunity to give back to our clients. Special shoutout to the vendors that made this party possible.
